EWF - When they were truly Mighty Mighty ...Evil - 1973 ...C'mon Children - 1974 ...Mighty Mighty - 1975 ...Shining Star - 1975 ...Can't Let Go - 1980 ...September - 1980 ...In The Stone - 1981? ...That's The Way Of The World - 1981 ...After The Love Is Gone - 1981 ...Reasons - 1982 The joy I get watching these performances are temporarily dampened by the fact that a self-contained band with this style, musical integrity & positive message wouldn't have a snowball's chance in hell today. tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 "Ya see, we're not interested in what you know...but what you are willing to learn. That damn Philip Bailey could scream on that song and the song was funky as hell. "Mighty Mighty" is definately my favorite song by Earth, Wind, and Fire. Andy is a four letter word.

First of all, I just want to start off by saying,"Thank you!" Thanks for whoever it was who posted this thread.
EARTH, WIND and FIRE is without question my favorite band of ALL TIME! In the words of Steve Harvey,"They are the greatest band ever assembled on GOD'S green earth!" The man speaks the truth! They're talent in music is truly devine. It takes one who pays close attention on a higher plane. It's like they'd become one with their music, one with their sound, one with their singing, one in the round. Oh, how i love that band! Oh, how i love their sound!

Weren't they magical? I miss that bands today don't wear the costumes like they did back in the day. That really added to the magic of the show.

tA Tribal Disorder http://www.soundclick.com...dID=182431 I'd like to be less skeptical and think that all it would take is one person to see Maurice for the genius he really is and start a record label if needed. Just seeing the band live alone would make a believer out of anybody. Thx for these links...I love this music...

So much EWF...so little time! Thanks for posting these tA. I'll be grooving all afternoon!
It's so true that it's a crying shame that there'll never be another band like EWF because the powers that be just wouldn't allow such a dynamic group to exist.

If such a band could make money it would exist. Why would some cloak & dagger entity want to hinder such a development? What's to be gained? test

If such a band could make money it would exist. Why would some cloak & dagger entity want to hinder such a development? What's to be gained? That's just it! There wouldn't be a group like EWF because it would have to develop and the industry isn't into development these days. It's more like cookie cutter production. Sing, play, take pictures, make video, do the tv show circuit, #1 first week, #12 week 2, next!

Maybe you and me a few other on this board or another, but I doubt such a phenomenon is in such high demand. test

You guys should pick this up...
One of the BEST docu-films about a band IMO. It should be worth it for the Ramsey Lewis days footages alone
