I saw their San Jose performance back in June.Hopefully, the more recent shows are better than the brief, unfocused show that I saw.

I hope those of you who make it, will review the shows here.
I wonder how much Sly has left. It's funny how Hendrix has more material released since 1970 than Sly has. (not that it's new material, but the average teen today would more recognize Jimi, but wonder, Sly WHO?) Some people tell me I've got great legs...

I love Sly, but that is just too expensive for me, dude. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

They also have shows at BB's in NYC in December.....if anyone goes next week, please let me know if it is worth checking it out....and if Sly actually shows up and does more than 1 song....
Thanks. "Love and compassion are necessities, not luxuries. Without them humanity cannot survive."

Yes the December shows are sold out and they just added 2 shows for November 20th, so they are trying to spread the word before the holiday kicks in. A friend of my son asked to spread the word to those interested. [Edited 11/16/07 12:31pm]

Based on reports of the shows that have happenned this year... I will definitely be looking for some kickass reviews before dropping that kind of dough on Sly.
I mean, if the band was hot and Sly had his thing together, it would be well worth it. If the band is unrehearsed & Sly is barely there, then, you know... it's not. But I hope for the best.

Let us hope all exits from the stage are barred by burly guards, so that Sly has to sing more than just 'If You Want Me to Stay'. Guard: 'Another 20 songs to go, Mr Stone!'

86$ is waaaaay to much if the show is going to be anything like the one he gave here in Finland @ Pori Jazz festival last July... It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.
