Why does it have to be a comparison? They're both great. Innervisions has 9 excellent songs with no filler or weak points. What's not to love? Every song is powerful in its own right, but together they're magical.

Not that that's intended as an insult, but it signals to me and everyone of any respectable knowledge you were not aware of this music at the time it was active in black communities. That's usually because of age differences (too young), cultural differences (too white) or nationality(non-American).

In your case; it's all three.
