Love Has Fallen on Me

One of my favorite tunes, and I know Paligap must be tired of me talking about it. lol

Let us compare and contrast two brilliant versions

The Rotary Connection - Love Has Fallen on Me (1971)

Chaka Khan - Love Has Fallen on Me (1978, a live performance sandwiched by Clouds and Naughty...hot!)

My (slight) preference is for Chaka's if only for the female backing vocals in the chorus versus the male backing vocals in the original.

The sensitive dynamics involved in the Rotary Connection arrangement (alternate voices, vocal counterpoint) seals the deal for me.
You can almost see the Broadway play potential of the song in this Andrew Lloyd Webber/Charles Stepney collab.

I meant on your Rotary Connection video, with the way the counter shows a negative countdown
