Akon covers Michael Jackson's "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin" LISTEN HERE!

Akon recently covered Michael Jackson's "Wanna Be Startin' Somethin." If this will be on his new album, Thriller 25, or another MJ greatest hits/tribute project is unknown at this point.

That being said, you can hear the full version of Akon's cover here.

It starts out fine but when he gets into the signature Michael parts, it kinda makes you cringe a bit. Still, there are parts that work. If Michael did the "Michael" parts, it would be a decent track. I'm sensing an Akon-Michael performance...sometime soon.

The Top 5 Best things about the song Wanna Be Startin Something...:

5 – The Lyrics… You're just a buffet, you're a vegetable, They eat off of you, you're a vegetable!

4 – That guitar boogie part towards the latter half of the song

3 – Mama Say! Mama Sa! Ma Ma Mokusa!

2 – Probably the most "Eeeee Hees" And "Woo Hoo's" than any other MJ Song. At least 20 of each

1 - And of course the Number 1 best thing about this song…HEEE HAW!

Christian Zombie Vampires

As annoying as I think Akon is, I hope this happens. I just miss Michael performing. A part of me kind of gets upset everytime I hear him say in interviews, he doesn't want to perform anymore. I know he is beyond entitled to feel this way. I just wish it wasn't so....

I don't know that much about Akon the person, but I do like quite a few of his tracks. I hope it happens too.
