Last night's show might have been the best Tori show I've ever seen. Pip is one angry lady! I think she gave the God the bird at the end of "The Waitress" before storming offstage.

Also, before "Silent All These Years", Tori did an improvisational "I Missed You" relating an experience on the European leg of the tour and a hilarious incident on the plane trip overseas with her daughter.

And I just got tix for my 4th show of this tour. She's playing a 2nd night in Chicago but at The Vic this time. And they're saying it will probably be filmed since it's a general admission show. I've never seen her GA, but this tour is just begging for that kind of interaction.

ok, here's the latest on shows i'm going to:

portland, oakland 1, oakland 2, oakland 3, santa barbara, anaheim, la. we may go to seattle but its not set in stone yet. i had tix for san diego but i sold them. row L is too far away for me and if i go to the san diego show i'm getting up front!

i'm leaving san francisco in december and, while bush may suck at exit strategies, mine is routed along the 101.

by the way, if anyone can tell me how to get the audio of my posse can do from the bonus disc, it would be great. i don't mean an illegal download, either. i have the bonus disc, i just don't know how to get the song in mp3 format.

it seems like precious things followed by tear in your hand and hey jupiter are the regular closers of this tour. hmm...not sure how i feel about that since she uses the latter two so frequently as closers. it might be nice for her to close with something from this record, like smokey joe or my posse can do. i see she sometimes substitutes tear in your hand with bouncing off clouds, so nothing is set in stone. i would just like to see hey jupiter somewhere else, i guess.

"Spark" was partly played on the harpsichord--nice. There was another improvisational song about being a cute boy in NY before "Cornflake Girl" and some other new thing like "Jesus Is Love" in between "Doughnut Song" and "Spring Haze".

I liked Pip's show more. Santa was cool the way she slinked onstage in her hot little red dress like she was going to have a serious night on the town, but it's hard to top Pip's fire the night before.

Tori started the show late so by the time she finished "Precious Things" it was already 11pm and she announced to the audience that she was being kicked off the stage and apologized. However she and the band quickly returned for a second encore and the final two songs.

Looks like Code Red is always the last song before the encore. At least I'll get to hear that one.
