Its streaming on aol. Its ok. Fans should enjoy it. I really like 'Box Full o'Honey' and 'Falling Down'. 'Last Man Standing' is nice, too. Theres also an instrumental track thats freakin sick. Im wondering what John Taylor does these days, though, cause there isnt very much live-sounding bass to found on the album. It sounds mostly like synths. His basslines are big part of their early sound. [Edited 11/13/07 10:16am] A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

[Edited 11/13/07 10:16am] Yeah that was my issue with the record too, also the absence of a solid guitar player and drums. Its an OK record but there are alot of holes in it to me, to me at times it almost sounds as if its Simon's solo record and he's doing his version of "sexyback". There are some good moments and there arent really any bad moments but there is a big absence of memorable moments to me. So to me once again Duran Duran is a 75-80%. it was interesting to me that none of the stores in the Sunday paper inserts had the slbum listed..they had all the other tuesday releases at Target,Best Buy & Circuit City but no Red Carpet Massacre...i was suprised

I know! I went out to buy the CD last night, but it wasn't on sale anywhere. I decided to just buy it on iTunes and get the bonus track. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I've got two words....."It Sucks"!!! They should have stuck with the sound that got them to where they are.... "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

Think this one will take some time to grow on me... I loved how their last CD "Astronaut" mixed their signature sound with a modern vibe... On first listen "Massacre" tends to sound like a bunch of Timbaland covers.
