Jam of the Day: "Kung Fu" by Curtis Mayfield

The bass on this song is absolutely great. This is one of those songs that reminds me of a pimp driving down the ho stroll collecting his money from his girls.

Put this jam in your Cadillac, ease the seat back, low ride, and turn it up.

Give it up y'all.

Yeah, a fun track. "Sweet Exorcist" is definitely an underrated album - even the god-awful, tasteless album cover art is actually quite interesting to be honest.

The rock-n-soul master. His evolution to a 60's anthem crooner to a superbad protest singer was effortless, it seems. A testament to his genius. I love Curtis.
