November 13th CD releases

What is everyone buying?

The major CD's out Tuesday are Duran Duran, Seal, Alicia Keys and Celine Dion.
There are also compilations due from Aretha Franklin and Led Zeppelin.

According to the below website, MJ's Thriller 25 Edition comes out Monday in the UK. So I would guess the 13th in America. Correct?

Celine sucks ass confused

But I'm not even all that excited about Mariah anymore. She can go fuck herself. I'm sure I'll only like a few of the songs on the new album.

Sounds good. I was bored by the last one and actually just sold it today. I figure I got the "Greatest Hits" and that is good enough for the singles that were on there. I might check out the new one though I'm not looking forward to a duet with the little Mrs. Heidi is "too look at" as Seal is "to listen to". And vice versa, probably! She's got a terrible speaking voice. Not saying Seal is ugly because of that deal with his face, but even if he were good looking, I wouldn't know.

I'm trying to ease down on the buying so I'll probably just pick up that one if any. As for Zep, I'm a fan but I already have a compilation and am buying the full albums here and there (just got "Physical Graffatti" and am loving disc 1 and will listen to the second soon)...it's not like they are putting new stuff on that set!

His last one was way better than "Human Beings." Bleh.
The song with Klum is ok. It's sweet. Reminds me of the songs Gwyneth Paltrow had a few years ago, which I actually really liked. Refreshing change from all the grandstanding flourishes that pass for singing these days.
"System" is 90% dance. Think Seal's version of "Confessions on a Dancefloor." And listen to it on shuffle. For some reason, if you listen to the album straight through, the songs kind of all sound the same, but on shuffle it's a great album.

My favorites are "Amazing (Album Version)", "System", and "If it's in my Mind, it's on my Face."

"Rolling" is a good song, too, though. Probably the one that sounds the most like an early Seal song.

Agreed. Prolly has something to do Stuart Price. The producer of both records. wink
