I got a pop album by a dude named Jesse Saunders (called "Jesse's gang"). It dropped in the mid 80's (album called "center of attraction"). Even though that album was pop, bio states he was some sort of pioneer in Chicago house music?

I love some of that album though.

If you liked "real love", you'll love "back up", that is funk'd up! Infact, most the album is pretty good. Good thing about the album is that Jesse has a sense of humour. Funny samples, ad-libs etc.., its refreshing.

I bought a few WBMX house cds from ebay. These are worth it. Go to ebay and search for WBMX house. Anyone who knows Chicago house knows WBMX.

If you live in the Chicago area, on 52nd and Pulaski there is an indoor flea market, there are house cds there. I picked up one name Chicago Trax, a 3 cd set, for $15.

(The cds I bought aren't on ebay now. I guess just look around and buy one of the compilations.)
