I've always LOVED this song. I didnt know that mavis recoreded this as a solo artist. Is the whole album Curtis Mayfield compositions? Anybody heard the whole album? I think I NEED to have this.

I bet it is good! The movie is really good, but for me the best past is when 'A piece of the Action" plays while the end credits roll. That, and the part when the class goes on the mock job search. Ooh, ooh, and the part where dude tells about how he has to take care of his brother 'little Timmy' and all the kids pick on him cause he's slow.

Maybe they have the soundtrack and album as a package deal.
