So far I kinda like the Kingdom Come album better..maybe after a few more listens to his new album I might like it more.

How about "Hard Knock Life Vol. 2"? Although, glossy, I feel that was his "GREATEST" glossy album to date.....if that makes any bit of sense. "The Blueprint" is probably my all-time favorite of his; even though I know that "Reasonable Doubt" was him at his best. Check this sick line out from one of his tracks on that classic album. Even "I" know it's sick and I'm still trying to let it's meaning sink in:

"Transgression illegitimate /'Cause life is still a bitch / And then you die/ But, for now life close your eyes and feel this d***!"

Let it sink in a little.....

That's why I said "GLOSSY"! I know that's not one of his best albums. But, it had featured some songs that had displayed some of his craziest "FLOW" for the mainstream. Uh, "Jigga What, Jigga Who", anyone? Seriously, Jaz-O was even "SICKER" on that song. Tell me I'm lying, with a straight face. It was better than "In My Lifetime Vol. 1" and "The Life and Times of S. Carter Vol. 3"!

vol 3 and vol 1 could of been great if he didn;t have to put the usual 'bitches ain't shit' type of songs on them

Blueprint is awesome i agree

This album is pretty hott so far! I like "Pray" "American Gangster" this song should have been track #2 (this is the Jay Z that was missing since the Black Album).

American Dreamin is ok...Marvin gay's vocal acapella brings soul in2 the jam...it sound like a headphone jam so I gotta interpet it more.

Hello Brooklyn is ..aiight...i like the old skoo beat and the Beastie Boys sample. Lil Wayne just sounds weird on a east coast album to me...like he dont fit spittin his usual offbeat and off key flow.

ROCK Boys headbang nuff said..the video is what really put life in this song. No Hook remind me of a line from Kanye..just can't remember. I think this song is the scene where Denzel's mom tried 2 stop him from going out.

Jay works best on old school samples nuff said...the soul beats really compliments his rap and I think he definitley found his nice. I know he was tryin to be original mostly on Kingdome Come, the beats on there were nice and everything, but I thought it was overproduced for him...the sound was also very loud! confuse

Man Jay is back and Im excited 4 him again.
