Thanks 4 sharing. Sorry I DO NOT LIKE THIS STATUE. This looks nothing like him. Tupac was a fine looking brother. IMO this doesn’t even resemble him. Is this statue in Oakland, CA?

Yes I agree... It looks more like Lou Gossett than Tupac

That doesn't look anything like Pac! It looks like a statue of a preacher if you ask me.

I don't think that's supposed to be Pac. First of all he has a suit on and a bible in his hand.

I think it is supposed to be 2Pac. I mean, all joking aside, who else would it be?

Or perhaps they wanted to show the man behind the myth! Or what he would have looked like had there been another way for black man with his background to leave his mark on the world! Or perhaps it's of the man he could have become had he just made it though the storm!

I think it's ugly and looks nothing like him but I don't for any reason think it was to make him look like more than what he really was because I think he was a beautiful black man with unique gifts that under the right circumstance could have changed the world and was on the verge of getting it on when he was eliminated and the statue doesn't do him justice!

I love Marvin Gaye but he was quite a piece of work, too!

Yeah I know I was just saying though, if they can create a 'Pac statue, then get Marvin's ass one. lol I mean yeah he seemed like he could've done something had he stopped messing with street life. Street life or what he thought his image really was was his downfall just as self-doubt, paranoia and his mental anguish to vie for his dad's affection were the end of Marvin's.

I do remember him wearing suits after he got out of jail. He was trying to look sophisticated... well that didn't work out well.
