I like her Her new single "Bruised But Not Broken" is GREAT.

Expect to see alot of negative comments.For some reason,she doesn't get much love on this site.

Her new album is amazing. It is one of the best r&b albums of the year imo. She's not that big here in the states. Her music is only being promoted to Urban ac formats. Until she goes mainstream urban, she'll stay in the background as a Urban AC artist (unless she gets nominated for a shit-load of Grammy's this year...which is always possible).

Joss Stone is overrated and overhyped she has a good voice but it ain't excellent!

She is not no top notch soul singer like Syleena Johnson, Angie Stone etc. The reason why she is ahead is due to heavy promotion and image.

Whenever I listen to her sing I don't feel anything in her voice she seems so contrivied, manipulated and rehearsed.I don't feel any sincerity, fire or passion even with her new album it seems uninspiring.Joss Stone doesnt give me a genuine soul sound it seems more textbook and formulaic. Her voice is to hard and shrilly plus it seems like she struggles to sing soul music I have seen her perform and it sounds like she blows her throat just to try to get edgy gospel sound like Aretha and Mavis Staples.

She is a phoney I don't think of her as being in the same caliber as Angie and Aretha.

If you guys want to see a real modern day blueeyed singers besided Teena Marie check out Joan Osborne,and Annie Lennox.

These women to me are the real deal
