Anyone hip to Janelle Monae? Believe it or not a local station in my city has been bumpin' Violet Stars a lot!
And it happens to be a nice lil' gem. I haven't heard anything from her outside of this track but if it's any indication of what's to come pretty damn excited 
Btw, seems that she made an appearance in Idlewild or the soundtrack, something like that.

I loooove her! Someone here on this board hip me to her. I got her first album or atleaat the 1st part of it. Her debut album is a 4 part concept album. (so far only part 1 has be realsed) It's very good. She's bringing something to the table.
