Alicia Keys: LOGO OUT AND MTV THE LEAK

There's a song that sounds like the end of Purple Rain

So far, it sounds good musically and production-wise, but still lackluster

Ok, this reeks of familiarness, but her fans will think it's original like most of today's music

I think Alicia Keys is an extremely talented artist, but there is just something about her personally that turns me completely off. Maybe she reminds me of someone I knew (which would not be fair), but I can not seem to get far enough away from whatever it is, in order to enjoy her music.

I wish there was more range. Vocally and musically. I like about 2, maybe 3 songs--Lesson Learned is one--but won't be buying the album.

I don't think she can do much else vocally.

I'm trying to wait until I get the album to listen. The reviews so far are very mixed.

Well i cant really say anything about this since i have YET to actually like an album when hearing it on the net, and thats serious, even a-HA's "Analogue" which was my favorite album of 2005-06 and one of the best of the decade, and they are my favorite band, i couldnt enjoy the leak which came about a week earlier, it wasnt till i had the actually CD in my hands and had time to listen myself, not snippets, not digital leaks etc...

Oh yeah, hearing it on my computer speakers doesn't due any album justice, but it helps

So far, I really like I Need You and that's about it

The song that sounds like Purple Rain was just released to radio Like You'll Never See Me Again
