This is exactly the kind of jam I like in the bedroom when I'm getting ready to do those filthy, unnatural thangs. I always remember to pull my window shade down though because the blue haired old lady from "The Women of Brewster Place" will have my business all over the neighborhood in the morning.

Give it up for "Feel Me" by Cameo.

Cameo excelled at slow jams as well as uptempo funk.

They sure did. Actually, most of my favorite slow jams came from funk groups. They just had a sexier feel to them than slow jams from solo artists. They also didn't sound adult contemporary sounding.

Exactly. Besides Shitney's influence, another reason I probably hate most slow jams past 1984 is because there were very few funk bands still doing them. These damn adult contemporary solo artists were taking over.

I love this song. Almost all of Cameo's slow jams are untouchable. "Feel Me", "Sparkle", "Hanging Downtown", and "Why Have I Lost You" are amazing.
