On the compilation that I have,it sounds like the two parts were clumsily edited together  you can hear the fadeout of Part 1,then Part 2 quickly starts playing,lol. | |

I used to love this song! Now THAT was a falsetto! The vocal arrangements were great on this song! And I ain't even gonna mention the harmonies! You're gonna have me pullin' out 45s here in a minute. :lol; | |

Actually a very good friend of mine made me a Special Delivery compilation from his vinyl, may he rest in peace. Another great Special Delivery song was "That's When It Hurts". He made me so many great CDs of great slow jams by Ray, Goodman, and Brown, Enchantment, Marlena Shaw, Minnie Riperton, Richard "Dimples" Fields,....Bloodstone.."Go On And Cry" (Oh hell, I LOVE that song)....just so many slow jams. He made CDs of slow jams I didn't have and I made him CDs of funk he didn't have. Between the two of us, I think we had everything an old school R&B lover would want. I miss my good buddy. Indeed! Those falsetto vocalists were amazing back then.Just yesterday,I was listening to "Sho Nuff Must Be Love" by Heatwave and it just blew me away.THAT'S how an R&B song should sound!! | |
