Erykah Badu, Nikka Costa, The Roots... LIVE Los Angeles benefit Anyone here checking this out?
The Wiltern, Los Angeles, CA Thu, Nov 15 Shaking the Blues is a star studded benefit featuring Erykah Badu, Nikka Costa, The Roots, and Taj Mahal Trio with George Lopez, Jurnee Smollett, Blair Underwood and special guests soon to be announced. Event chairs include Samuel L. Jackson, Jackson Browne, Morgan Freeman, Forest Whitaker, and Alfre Woodard. The show supports Artists for a New South Africa, a nonprofit organization founded in 1989, which works in Africa and the US to combat HIV/AIDS, advance human rights, safeguard voting rights, and assist and empower AIDS orphans and other at-risk youth. www.ansafrica.org. | |
