It seems like the popular concenous by people who work in the media is that the CD is dead or will die soon...With albums like this coming out, maybe that's OK!

All i can say is that Jay Z R kelly thing was a disaster especially the second one. The store that i ran was the number one store in the company for RB hip Hop sales, so we figured this record would be huge and so did our company buyers, and the buzz was there at first. So they sent us 2000 copies, that first week we sold 120 and then shipped back the rest a few weeks later.

Why do u want people to NOT pay this no mind? Do u hope that their album doesn't sell? And if so,...why? What difference does it make to u if people buy their album or not? Example; I'm not a fan of Incubus BUT I certainly don't wish ill thoughts like I hope no one buys their albums. I could careless about Bow Wow and Omarion but I hope they and ANYBODY else in the biz can sell as much as they can of any product they may put out. That's the main objective, is to sell. That's an odd thing to wish upon someone. "Man, whatever u do, PLEASE don't go buy this album."

I said that because, well, Bow Wow has had many commericial flops ever since his debut and Omarion, who does have admirable talent, just doesn't have that chance to do something consistent. They both keep doing these worthless projects that don't even sell much. I don't really care about what sales, but enough is just enough. Ever since everyone heard that their new album, Faceoff, was coming out, people (including me) aren't too enthused. It just looks like it's going to be bashed even by their fans.

Are they even a real good pairing? It's not like aChante Moore and Kenny Lattimore, Milli Vanilli, Missy & Timbaland, Toni & Babyface. What have they really done for eachothers career? Nothin.

I dont wish bad on them, but it's like....WHY?

And also are they really different people? they really dont have different styles, they are almost twins anyway so will anyone care is the bigger question. At least with thinks like Lattimore and Chante, there was a differnce between them though both were "ballad types", i just dont see this pairing as anything special.

ye..now if this was Jay Z & Nas on 10 trax..this would be soemthing.

If this was Missy & Kim spittin 16 bars 12 tracks only on limited edition vinyl this would be special.

You all thought that the album cover was bad, wait til you read this ignorant statement that came out of Bow Wow's mouth at the MTV studios:

Oct 31 2007 8:00 AM EDT

Bow Wow Says His Face Off With Omarion Will Mean A 'Whole Bunch Of #1 Records'
"Duo just filmed video for 'Girlfriend'; joint tour also in the works."

By Jayson Rodriguez, with additional reporting by Shaheem Reid

Two things are clear about Bow Wow these days. First off, he's far from being lil' anymore. And second, he's not afraid to talk big either. Both points are made clear on Face Off, the rapper's upcoming collaborative project with Omarion, which is set to be released December 11 on Columbia.

Bow was pretty confident when he spoke to MTV News recently about the album's first two songs, the buzz track "Hood Star" and the upcoming lead single, "Girlfriend."

" 'Hood Star' is really just saying that we here to stay," he explained. "Whatever these other rappers talking about and they ain't living it, we living it. When I tell people I got a Phantom and I got a [Ferrari] F40 in the garage, I'm living it. That's the truth you can bring the cameras to my crib. I don't rent nothing, I don't rent jewelry. ... It's just really all about living the lifestyle. ... That's what's really poppin'. I'm good with the poppin', everybody knows that. Even with [2005's] 'Fresh Azimiz.' I'm just good with that. But this is way better, it's smashing 'Fresh Azimiz.'

"['Girlfriend' is] probably gonna be one of the biggest records that I've ever done in my career," he added.

Bow and O were recently in Los Angeles to shoot a clip for "Girlfriend," the official first single Bow said "Designated Driver," which popped up online recently, was just a record they leaked to test the waters. The rapper was tight-lipped regarding the details but said he and his R&B partner would be re-creating a yet-unrevealed classic video for their own montage.

"I want people to be surprised," he said. "We definitely re-creating a very popular hip-hop video. It's definitely gonna be crazy."

Bow Wow is getting ready to step out on tour next month with Chris Brown and Soulja Boy, bringing O along on spot dates. But once Face Off drops, he said the two will launch their own tour, presumably at the beginning of the year. The longtime friends have plenty of experience doing shows together; they're both alums of the popular Screamfest/ Scream Tours (Omarion with former group B2K), which they helped launch into a major music-industry fixture. Bow said one of his goals was to channel their Scream energy and their past collabo, "Let Me Hold You," onto the new album.

"It's gonna be crazy we just giving people a new vibe," he said. "I know it's something that the girls, the kids and everybody has been waiting on for so long. Me and O have been setting up for this basically our whole entire career, from us touring together to us having a #1 record with 'Let Me Hold You.' So we just decided, why not go ahead and give them a whole bunch of #1 records?"

There you have why RB is so caught in a web that it cant find its way out. Not to burst his bubble, but in Music Retail we call this release of December 11th, the "Dump" labels always do this when everyone is caught in the Xmas rush they through some records out there that people will just pick up as a gift for someone, we saw it every year in Music Retail and that term "dump" was actually a quote from a label person who was talking about the records they had coming out, so I love how these guys think their labels are all with them and backing them.
