She IS one of the few artists these days, when seeing her live; she sounds JUST like, if not BETTER, than her CD's. A rarity these days..

All her albums, the only artist whom I can listen to ALL her albums STRAIGHT THROUGH NO INTERRUPTION!!!!
THE ONLY ARTIST EVER!!!!! Who can beat "Your Love Is King" and "Hang on To Your Love"...? But my shit off the "Diamond Life" album is "Sally"....whew when that woman sangs her heels off on that track!!! The best song hands down off the "Lover's Rock" album is "Somebody Already Broke My Heart"..... her music has gotten me through some breakups for real. she knew how I was feeling. And hands down, can't nobody tell me "Bullet Proof Soul" is like the most funkiest semi-slow song ever..... [Edited 11/5/07 18:29pm] I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I love Sade, but its definitely music for a certain mood
My fave album would have to be Promise with Is It a Crime being the story of my sad, pathetic life If you will, so will I

I own her "Best of" and Lover's Rock.
I'm assuming from the love on this thread that it's worth it to buy all of the full length albums. In other words, the non-single album tracks are that good. Plus, Sade albums are cheap, even new. I think I've seen the first three albums sold together in a three-pack for a very good price.

I'm listening to "Love Deluxe" now. It opens so great... very smooth. I can't help but think that the name "Love Deluxe" was inspired by Trane's "A Love Supreme." The two have a very similar ring. Kick the old school joint 4 the true funk soldiers.

Not saying one needs to be older to appreciate her, but she does lend herslef to a more mature audience. And that's the way it should be Grown folks music Gotta disagree. 1985.
