Eden's Crush - The Glamorus Life

Have anyone ever heard this remake?

Its not that bad as I thought it would be. Has a rock edge which is a nice take on the ong. nevertheless, not bad. I like it.

You didn't watch Popstars?? I auditioned for Popstars 2. This was all before American Idol. Nicole was also the singer in the group "Days Of The New." Nicole looked very different back then, not as dark or as skinny

I knew it was the first reality group shows. I 4got about them after their first single.. just like Danity Kane, Making The Band, Fatty Koo, O Town, Westlife, BB Mack. Dream...on and on

But I didnt get in2 the show. I went to a used record store..picked it up and saw "The Glamorus Life" as one of their tracks.

Downloaded it..

yeah the album is cool, the label bailed out on them as they promoted it, and little by little each girl bailed out of the group, Nicole really was the only one that seriously wanted to be a singer, and had been singing professionally before this show, back in 98 was when i met her and knew she had what it would take, she had talent and work ethic, she worked with everyone and sang all sorts of music, recorded under her name as Nicole Kea also.

Its just for now, PCD is doing another album with her. The thing with PCD is that Nicole and also Melody are hired hands, the others are under contract because they were part of the Vegas Dollas and the lounge act, Nicole and Melody were hired when they decided to make a record, so its not really up to her its up to Universal if they want Nicole on the next record.

You're talking about Popstars 2, which was after THIS Popstars that Nicole was on:

Popstars: Spring 2001 (5 Girls) called Eden's Crush
Popstars 2: Fall 2001 (3 boys, 3 girls. 1 boy (Moises) kicked out) called Scene 23

It was preceded by Making The Band in 2000.

Rosanna was on the tv version of "on air with Ryan Seacrest" and hosted a show with former Idol contestant Kimberly Caldwell for the tv guide channel about American Idol

Ivette (or Yvette) did a one-woman stage show in New York about being a one time pop star

Ana Maria had been singing with her family prior to Popstars and I think she rejoined them

I have no idea what happened to Maile. I think she started acting

Yeah it was a shame the album didnt get more attention because it was a good mix of pop/latin. But the label pretty much bailed out on it as soon as the second single was being issued to radio, the girls did tour quite a bit.

The label was only in it t make money. They didn't care about Eden's Crush or Scene 23. The label is now defunct. I lost respect for David Foster

I agree on that one. Didnt David Foster make enough off Chicago in the 80's?

There's no such thing as enough with these people. They made their money from the network that aired it. Album sales meant nothing to them
