Get rid of either MJB or Mary J Blige and this would be a classic.

It's nice. Simple. I agree tho, don't think she needs the MJB and her name.

MJB is for the CD cover view (large), Mary J Blige is for the vinyl (name at the very top).

I know what you mean. Why does it need to appear twice. It's a pretty awesome cover in an age where album covers are mostly boring or just plain awful.

If only. I think I prefer just her name printed at that top in that simple and kind of classic font. I think I already dig the album cover more than I'll probably like the album!

I spy in the records furthest to the right...

Diana Ross' 1981 album Why Do Fools Fall in Love?

Diana Ross was 37 years old when that album came out... Mary will be 37 in January 2008 hmmm

It's hard to believe the "Queen of Hip-Hop Soul" is about to turn 37! It seems like yesterday she was this 21-year-old whippersnapper just coming out with What's the 411 about sixteen years ago! Amazing.

Great album cover.

But whats up with the album title? Why is she still unhappy? is her gold shoelaces on too tightly?

Wow I really like. Too nice to be lost. In the vinyl editions it should be one of those albums that open up with that pic in the middle like a centerfold.

She looks so grown and sexy in this pic! I haven't seen this side of Mary, well, never! I also love her new hair style. It takes me all the way back to the No More Drama phase... biggrin

I hope her new album is good too!

I agree, sorta. The first single's just sorta shrug for me. I still love her. And though that cover is manipulated to the max, it's gorgeous.
