I'm just not, feeling these Ebony photos, and I think I know why. They're over-airbrushed! Sure every mag that features a model or celeb has airbrushing that's been done, but I think that they did too much on Mike's pictures. I mean, this is a man pushing 50, and yet he has baby smooth skin like some 21 year old! Aint no wrinkle or line in sight. I KNOW Mike's skin isnt that flawless (unless he had a quick Botox job right befor the shoot.) These pictures don't look real to me...they almost look like paintings I wanna see the real Michael Jackson, not some computer enhanced vision of him
I think the pictures from the Luomo shoot are better, here Michael looks more realistic, and not so computer-enhanced. See the differences: EBONY Not only did they airbrush out any signs of aging he had, it looks like they filled out his cheeks to make them look fuller. In the Luomo pics his cheeks have a more chiseled, somewhat gaunt look to them. Maybe its all that blush they put on him, but I'm not sure if the blush was applied in real life or if it was "added" on later. So I prefer the Luomo Vogue pics to the Ebony ones because those ones look more natural and not like someone took a paintbrush to them. Nice poses tho MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Nice poses tho I think the pictures in Ebony are more for the general public -- airbrushed with little concern for artistry -- whereas the Vogue photos were taken by a famous photographer. The latter ones are much more realistic, and artistically quite well done -- but not for the general public. I like both.

The difference between the vogue and Ebony pictures is that the vogue pictures are all Black and White and less airbrush but its still doesn't look like the true Michael Jackson. If you really want to see the real Michael then you need to look at the picture Michael took with Quincey, in 1979, and age it a little, that's closer to the real looking Michael than any picture he has taken in the last 20 years or so.

Yes, that is true, but whereas the Luomo Vogue's airbrushing was more subtle, the airbrushing job done on these Ebony pics is just--over the top IMO. These look more like paintings of Michael instead of professional photos of Michael. The airbrushing is just way too obvious here. These pics just dont look real to me Ah well, the interview makes up for it. MJ L.O.V.E: https://www.facebook.com/...689&type=2 / YOUTUBE: http://www.youtube.com/us...nderSilent

Very good interview. You can tell that MJ's mind frame is different than what it was 3-6 years ago. And he seems more relaxed, confident and straight forward than he has in most interviews since Thriller.
One part that I found really interesting was when he talks about his father. He has praised Joe in the past, but here he hails him as a genius and the reason why he became such a successful business man. He even laughs about the so-called "abuse" he received as a kid. Michael never stopped!

This is not the first time Mike has talked like that about Joseph. He talked the smae way about him in the Bashit interview as well, but it was cut out, because Bashit wanted to show the whiny MJ. But you can see it in Take Two. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

Oh I know he's praised Joe before. I just like to point it out since so many outsiders tend to villainize Joe and blame him for "driving the kids crazy." They like to create all kinds of theories and theses about MJ allegedly hating his dad and acting out on his feelings somehow, even though he's never said such a thing. The only time he's talked unflatteringly about his dad was when he was interrogated about it by Bashir/Oprah. And even then, he seemed reluctant to say anything bad. Michael never stopped!

Yeh, that gold pic looks awesome. Would've been an awesome cover pic. I don't like the pic they used as on the cover. I like Michael when he's smiling and looking happy. He kinda looks like he's trying to pull off the subtly seductive look on the cover. lol

I wouldn't have liked that for the cover. The background is too flashy. The 'Ebony' title and features wouldn't go with it, too gaudy.
Plus, I don't like how they airbrushed his weave illimack said: seeingvoices12 said: OK.....New pic

Aww, what a beautiful photo of MJ. I've seen it before on KOP, but not this big. Anyway, I'm more than happy with the cover EBONY chose of MJ. And, what's the big deal with airbrushing? Damn near EVERY SINGLE artist, be they a singer or actor/actress is airbrushed on magazines and cd covers. Why is MJ singled out? Had he not been airbrushed folks would've been saying that he should've been. There's no pleasing folks. Whatever! DO THA' DAMN THANG, MJ!!!!!
