In the interview hes going on about how he doesn't care for long tours... AT LEAST ONE MORE MJ!

eek

Well, short tours are fine with me... like that you don't miss that many shows and it's more affordable to see a huge part of the tour! winkI mean, 21 nights in London anyone... well, in Michael's case 7 nights (at Wembley stadium)... since that is his preferred number!

Clearly people like to pick and choose nitpicking my posts, and reply to the ones they feel like so they can seem valid when I'm literally said all the same things in just one sentence, as opposed to a whole novel of an essay. I said I am attracted to Michael the person, I just can't look at him anymore. And now I have to hear people rant about how the beauty is the eye of the beholder cliches, Michael is beauty inside, all things I already spoke about and briefly without preaching like its a serman.

I sympthaize with Michael, but am no way going to be the sheep I once was. LEAVE MICHAEL ALONE!! I MEAN IT!! YOU LEAVE MICHAEL ALONE RIGHT. NOW.! EVERYONE IS OUT TO GET HIM!!!!

Has the media and people been ruthless and cruel to Michael? Absolutely no doubt. But did he bring it upon himself? hell yes.

Theres no convincing me he a victim of everything that happens to him. He is too naive for his own good. He used to plant some of those early tabloid stories with his manager Dileo (the hyperbaric chamber, etc) to make him look somewhat 'weird' and mysterious to exaggerate his real personality, and just cause they thought it would be fun. Now he wants to bitch about tabloids, burn them, don't read it, its garbage?

Of course I know he is not going to look like how did 15 years ago. But its not because its natural aging, and you know it. If it was, I wouldn't care to say anything. You know black don't crack. Look at his family. His has brothers older by the decades, and they look fine. I used to defend MJ relentlessly about his cosmetic surgery, maintaining that everyone else [celebrities] has had it, why only point at MJ? Than I realized, its too far of a stretch to make a valid argument. No one besides that chick who wanted to look like Barbie [who is not famous] has gotten the amount of things 'fixed' to themselves. You can't tell me with a straight face that Michael invites this sort of attention. You are right, it is human nature. And I will love will if he looked like a llama. But you don't expect people [in general] to not look down on you. The main reason that people do is because of what he has become. You know, "look how the mighty has fallen". Thats what puzzles people, therefore ridicule. If he was a nobody [aforementioned Barbie woman] nobody would give a fuck and you know it.

Perhaps I'm a big fat ass hypocrite. Because I will defend him relentlessly in public forums where Michael is being dissed back and forth like a liveless, non human being. I don't know, maybe I'm bipolar? Maybe I'm not. You tell me that he is a human being [and I KNOW this, dont tell me what I've already maintained] and to treat him that way. But you contradict yourselves by not recognizing his faults, and turn a blind eye to every stupid thing hes done that invites negative publicity [so he can bitch about it later on]. Thats not treating him like a human being. How many excuses can a fan make? How am I supposed to justify him dangling his baby outside a lord knows how high balcony?

I know what you're saying and my last post wasn't directed at you if you were wondering LOL. I know what you mean by how you were saying it saddens you to look at him. Even I sometimes look at him now and I feel sad by what hes become he was soooo gorgeous and he shouldnt of even touched his face as it was fine as it was. Michael is such a beautiful person inside, thats one of the reasons I admire him so much... but you gotta admit hew looking really good lately! He looks soooo good!

Yesssss I agree when you say Michael bought it upon himself. He was damn stupid to create that 'mysterious' image.. It only backfired on him but Michael will always have that 'weird' aura as hes so quiet and keeps (well kept) alot to himself. Had he told the world more it could be different.

I'm proud of being a MJ fan.. Like I used to try and keep it on the low because of what he has become and I realised that those people can get FUCKED coz they don't know what they on about, Now I'm just a loud and proud fan

cool

I didn't say you need to justify any of his actions. Michael is an individual and wise enough to know right from wrong. I wont say hes in the right just because hes Michael Jackson. I bascially found your ways of explaining your opinion on Michaels looks rude, Im sorry if that offends you in anyway. I was hardly knit picking, lets face it. What you said was very rude, and of course it will ring alarm bells. I never doubted you knew he was human, I was just pointing out how he might feel reading or hearing that stuff about him, cause afterall he is a human. If you know how it would feel, why would you continue to do it. I know its the internet, no one knows your indentidy, you said you dont like to post this stuff on Mj boards so you post in on another board to save your ass from being banned. And by all means write what you want to, believe what you want do whatever you please. I was simply addressing my views and opinion on the subject just like you were. Its not a personal attack on you or your fandom. Im not into this whole 'if you say that your not a real fan' nonsense. I only became part of fan communities last year, and I could care less about other peoples opinions on true fandom and whats right or wrong. Its not really about his antics with the press or his weirdness, Its basically about his looks. After reading some comments, I wanted to address my opinion of why I feel he had this transition physically, and why I think its sad that people ridicule him because he doesn't suit their standards. Yes your post inspired my 'essay', but it wasn't literally all about you and your words.

Damn! That article was ON FUCKING POINT about every damn thing! And if there's one thing about Michael Jackson that I dig is the fact that he's a great speaker.

And you know I know the full impact albums like Off the Wall and Thriller make. The reason I believe most so-called "media experts" focus primarily on Thriller because it was this album that truly was one of those albums that changed the world, maybe not as artistically as any of the Beatles albums or Stevie's albums or Marvin's albums but it changed the music world in the way albums were produced and also how it was marketed and the videos and the hits that came out of it. Its impact is still felt, musically people take elements of songs from "Thriller" when they wanna do something.

Plus it was really the first album to become a "BLOCKBUSTER" in terms of how everyone was buying it and viewing it. It thrust Michael into iconic status. If he'd retired with "Thriller", he'd still be one of the greatest, if not THE greatest, entertainers that ever existed and he's still one of the greatest artists of the last 50 or so years.

I just hope Mike can keep on doing what he does until he does clock out and I agree with his slowing down and reaping the moment of seeing how much one's hard work has done for one man.

Just do what you can until God calls for you, I ain't hating, Mike!

I think I just lost it after participating in countless threads on his appearance, accusations, etc. It seems like we (meaning Michael Jackson fans and ex-fans) go around in a circle, over and over again.

The thread entitled "Michael Jackson What Really Happened" is a perfect example of what makes me go mad and sad .Why do you keep participating in these endless debates?

Like I used to try and keep it on the low because of what he has become and I realised that those people can get FUCKED coz they don't know what they on about, Now I'm just a loud and proud fan

cool

Agreed with both points. But you know I think everybody in here knows Michael is just a human being. He's made constant mistakes where he misjudged his own common sense and was pretty naive about stuff. That's why when he did things in the press, it was always perceived that he was just this crazy son-of-a-bitch that was wacky and "out of touch with reality". Ain't nothing Mike can do to change it and he knows so. But at the same time, I don't get how some people can blindly defend him when even sometimes he knows he screws up. I'm not trying to change people's minds about how they view Michael. And let's get rid of this racial thing for a minute because, yes, I've noticed the sistas who are MJ fans are still wanting to have his baby or something (DawnD and seeingvoices12 are two posters who sentiment with what I'm talking about... lol ).

But I think we don't all have to think he's the sex god of 20 years ago. He's not but that doesn't mean he's an oddball or "ugly". He's beautiful on the inside but I blame his makeup people in the past into making him look like he just left a circus. The Michael in these photos is the real Michael I feel with probably a few airbrushes but that's just to make the photos look artistic. Some of the Vogue ones including the one where his hands are in prayer there IS a beautiful soul IN THERE. I just hate it when some people look at Mike in a materialistic view. Not saying any of y'all are, that's a mis-assumption that that's how I was thinking. But I am saying that you can't always think people should agree with your assessment of how to look and judge a person. I'll love Michael if he look like a damn trapezoid - I'll joke about it and go "who are the makeup people he's hiring?" Doesn't mean I'm attacking the man who went out like that.

And if I said anything like that, I'm sorry but what I'm saying right here is what I feel in my heart. But like I said, Just because there's been times Michael "screwed up" doesn't mean no one here is judging the man. I knew his reasons of what he did in the past but it really doesn't change my public perception of the man for who he is. He'll still be Michael Jackson regardless of how he look. It's the way people CHOOSE to remember him that is a little different. I'm actually INDIFFERENT to how he looks now. The only thing that really makes me happy is that he's still here and he's still looking to continue the career he started 40 years ago. That's why I'll always remain loyal to him.

He's still a beautiful brother but it's different for me than how it used to be. It's no longer materialistic but from the inside, he's the same kid who came bursting through 40 years ago to me. People take things too seriously sometimes and we won't get anywhere arguing about it and saying "oh you wrong about that". I mean what good is that gonna do?

Like the man once said, "it's just human nature".
