So hearing them faux perform Expressions made me pull out my Black's Maqic cassette this morning and I gotta question Salt's complaint that their music being stank. The majority of that album are positive empowerment songs. I had totally forgot about Negro with an Ego and Independent...damn good songs. The whole album is great. Anyone know who the female vocalist is? She tore the sh*t up on You Told Me....am I even getting any of these song titles right?

Anyhoo....damn, hip/hop used to be an artform...such a shame it died.

I began my musical journey as a young girl in many of my mother's studio sessions, absorbing the tones of musical Greats like Luther Vandross, Sister Sledge, and Diana Ross. Listening to the genius production works and arrangements of Bernard Edwards and Nile Rogers, word creation became my passion.
