The thing is it sounds cold and empty because there is no one on it but her, which goes for basically everything Timbaland/Danja and others do. Its really all about timing and what that person is going through, case in point would be Prince when he released Chaos and Disorder, to me this album is still one of his best, but it was destroyed and called an erratic mess by most people, but the reason was it was coming at a time when he was looked at as being an "erratic mess" in the public, had he put that album out after Purple Rain, it would have been a different story, and the same goes for Britney and this record, its one of her best, for what she can deliver with her limitations of talent, but its coming at a time when she is the erratic mess, had this record come out in the oops days, people would be praising it as a "growth" record.

Plus there'd have to be something there to begin with and that's part of the problem--for me. And in reality no producer actually sits there with them, they email them beats to their studio and they email back their vocals and whoever it is puts them together, so its not just Britney, i got the same empty feeling hearing alot of todays prodcutions. True that you can any artist doing these tracks, but that is what im talking about mainly, when i heard Nelly Furtados LOOSE album i said, anyone could have performed this, hell JEWEL did the same stuff on her dance record. And then when Paris Hilton put out her cd, when i heard cuts from it i thought it was Gwen Stefani, so with POP and producers today, all of the artists are pretty inter-changeable.

I Hope this album flops.. to give this woman a wake-up call... to let her know.. she has to put the work into... and can't just show her private and expect people to buy her music....

this is one album that i want to flop.... NOt trying to be mean or hurt britney... but she needs someone to wake her up....

Are people really thinking this is her best album? It's super vocodered vocals from someone that had a fair voice and mostly repeatious and boring dance beats. It sort of picks up later with songs like "Hot As Ice" and "Perfect Lover" but I think this is her worst album (actually, I don't have the second and can barely listen to the first beyond the singles).

And Jimmy Kimmel is not funny!
