Last year or so,Cheryl's 'In The Night' and 'Instant Love' albums were released together a 2-CD set.I even did a thread about it 
"In The Night" is one of my favorite Cheryl Lynn tunes.Produced by Ray Parker Jr,it's a smooth,early 80s funk/R&B jam. | |

Columbia/Legacy needs to put out a decent Cheryl Lynn compilation.They released a 'Best Of Cheryl Lynn' CD in the 90s,but it is very disappointing.It has alot of boring album tracks but it doesn't even include the 12" version of "Encore" (which every Cheryl fan would want).It's also missing singles like "Instant Love" and "In The Night".Would also be nice to have her 1987 single "New Dress" (a funky jam produced by Bernadette Cooper).I hate compilations that leave out so many songs! | |
