Peter Brown, was also responsible for Madonna's "Material Girl". He wrote the tune. "Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone sees it but only you feel its warmth"

![]() This is one of my favorite late-70s albums. It's a very interesting album because it wasn't what people expected. It took listeners by surprise. The singles "Do You Wanna Get Funky With Me" and "Dance With Me" were dancefloor favorites but make no mistake, this is not your typical late-70s disco album. Some of the other songs have a Steely Dan vibe....mellow and melodic."For Your Love" is a mesmerizing Quiet Storm cut....the title track and "The Singer Becomes The Dancer" wouldn't have sounded out of place on a Steely Dan or Pablo Cruise album. After the success of "Do You Wanna...",Peter could have just made an album of soundalike jams, but he chose to venture out and try new sounds.Gotta give him props for that.

Anyone remember "Double Or Nothing" from 1985's "Snap? That's another P.B. classic. [Edited 10/30/07 6:36am]
