Anybody else here into this Rufus Wainwright's music?
Is there anybody else who has slightly mysterious bruises?

Yep...HUGE Rufus Wainwright fan. Have seen him five times in the last year, meeting him after the shows on two of those occasions!!!
I think Rufus is the best thing I've heard at least in the past decade. I could go on and on about how brilliant I think he is, but suffice to say, YES! I'm into his music!!! biggrin

I'm going to see him on Wednesday - I'm so looking forward to it. Can't believe this man was off my radar for so long. I bought Release The Stars about 2 months ago, if the truth be told, just for Going To A Town, but I was absolutely stunned by the album. I have since bought his back catalogue and the DVD I Want, I just can't get enough of his music at the moment.

I like him in short doses. He's the perfect iPod artist, really enjoy him for one song in a shuffle sequence. For a full album, it's all a bit too much.

Yeah. "Poses" and "Want 1" are pretty regularly exactly what I need. I love to put those on and walk around city streets. Somehow they just work with an urban rhythm.
oh noes, prince is gonna soo me!!1!

I know what you mean - I've been listening whilst travelling to work and walking around town, minding my own business. Trouble is, sometimes the tears just swell up.

Yeah? That's interesting. His music is more cerebral for me.
