New Young Pony Club / Live in Brooklyn 10.18.07 [+ pics] ::: PCKTRCMS:K > CONCERT REVIEW
Great show. I wasn't going in with much expectations. I heard NYPC's debut "Fantastic Playroom" and I've been feeling the singles off of it for about a year now, but I guess it's true what they say about some acts: Sometimes it's better onstage than on wax. Labelmate Muscles preceeded their set with tunes from his current debut; and it was the after-show spot for the duo known as Simian Mobile Disco, who came in afterwards and did a cool little DJ set. Sidenote: I had a great time, but it was stinging because a day after I became mildly sick as a result of dehydration. ... [Edited 10/26/07 10:05am] | |
