I CANNOT STAND the timbre of this woman's voice. It makes my flesh crawl.

However, oddly enough I'm still very happy for he success. It seems she tried a long time to break over at home in the US and it never panned out. So she moved to Europe and became a megastar. Lord KNOWS how much money she must have made in just the German market alone, she could sell out arenas over here. On MTV Europe she also had her own mentor-protegé reality show similar to "Making The Band". Then the cancer struck, it was very sad, she recovered, and seems to have slowed down a bit. Happy that she's managed to come so far, as she's clearly worked fo it very hard and is very talented...
