The only song I remember well is "Ain't Nothing Goin' On But The Rent," but I DID like that one!  Never trust anything spoken in the presence of an erection.

I loved the early 80's NYC club stuff she did before she made her debut album. I have this album from her called "Padlock" from 1983 which is a collection of remixes she did for some dance producer, good stuff. | |

I loved the early 80's NYC club stuff she did before she made her debut album. I have this album from her called "Padlock" from 1983 which is a collection of remixes she did for some dance producer, good stuff. "Funky Sensation" was done by Gwen Macrae, not Gwen Guthrie. Gwen Guthrie, wrote songs for people like, Roberta Flack, Melissa Manchaster and others. She past, for ovarian cancer a few years back.
