if i strained my vocals and shouted im pretty sure my voice can achieve the same vocal arrangments as Joss Stone.... lolololololol I can't sing as well as I used to... i stopped singing a long time ago... Im 21 almost 22.. and my voice has mature a little more... I have noticed it... even though some still say that i sound like a kid... I know i sound more mature then when i was 18 years ago.... and I could NOT be a singer because in person i might sound like 15 or 16 years old.. but when ever i record my voice.. i sound like a 12 year old... I don't understand why the phone, recorders, video tape picks up only the high sounds in my voice.. therefore on tape, phone, recorders i sound so young... i hate talking infront of the class.. because when i speak people get extremely quiet to listen to me talk... and i understand because my voice is kind of weak... I hate reading in class too... I asked my big sister to read the bible with me and i started reading and she told me to stop  because she said my voice sounds really geeky and annoying... so after that.. i just feel self-conscience about my voice in public.... |

Both of them are parodies of soul singers. Just like Janis Joplin was. I've seen comedians like Sandra Bernhard doing parodies of black soul singers and it doesn't sound too different to Teena.
