MJ halloween costume so this year for halloween, my roommates and I are going out as different stages of MJ. my dark skin friend has the 'thriller'era, while my light skinned friend has the current MJ. naturally, being mixed i chose and just being genuinely in love with the BAD era Mike, im gonna be the most electrifying BAD MJ possible. however, there were many different looks during that time that are hard to duplicate. I would love to be MJ from the Dirty Diana vid, but i dunno if its worth the trouble buying all the buckles and shit lol. could go for the the way you make me feel look..any ideas or suggestions on how i should put my costume together? yea, i know... | |

The belt and buckle look is the best from that era. I'm sure you could find a bunch of belts, chains, and buckles round the place that you could just throw ove a pair of black jeans or something. Failing that, TWYMMF is a good look too. But don't forget the dodge bit of cloth tied around his wrist. And make sure your light-skinned friend wears all black. I haven't seen Mike in any other colour but black in years. | |

I went belt and buckle crazy a few years ago in general, so it was easy to be mj. I dressed like combo thriller and bad mj, but had the bad and dangerous facial look and hair hahaha the multiple mj thing is hilarious, i can't wait to see pics! [Edited 10/23/07 23:15pm] | |

first of all let me say... "Awwwww" thats so cute... anyways....i think you should try a thrift store or soemthing and look for those old black and buckle parasuco jean jackets vintage from the 80's... I have one and it looks like the one MJ wore in the video bad... its really cool.... my mom found that in a thrift store.. and she got it for me.... she knew i would love it cause it looked like Michael.. if you can not find the parasuco black jacket with sivler buckles.. then look for a black jean jacket thats around the style as MJ and get your mom to sew on buckles and chains... lolol you will look very AUH-DOOR-REE-BAL...  |
