Back 2 Black rereleased

Is anybody getting Amy Winehouse's re-release of Back to Black with the 4 new tracks on it?
I know she was like the .org queen around here for a while until she really started falling apart confused

I love her but I think I'll pass on this one unless the 4 new songs are just phenomenal
If you will, so will I

As far has I know it will have Valerie, Monkey Man and the cover she did for the Radio 1 compilation (yes...the same comp that features the now classic cover of Roxy Music's Love is the drug that Kylie did!)

I believe the Best Buy version has four live tracks on DVD:

1. Back to Black
2. Rehab
3. You Know I'm No Good
4. Love is a Losing Game

Okay, so the UK version would actually be worth rebuying IMO cause of all the new songs

I have the eleven track version with Addicted as the album closer, and it's perfect just like that.

Me and my wallet can wait for the next real album.

Being on DVD, I'm guessing you get to actually watch her perform those songs on your TV. I believe there's an interview also.

I would prefer the U.K. rerelease myself. I have "Valerie" on a promo single. It's hot.

An since she keeps cancelling concert dates (twice in LA) - that may be all we get see of her perform!

I was thinking it was those same ole MTV performances, where she's wearing to mini-dress and only seems half wasted confused

I read that the bonus songs are acoustic versions recorded in front of a live audience at The Orange Lounge in Toronto.

I doubt it would be any MTV performances, though..she's done so many touring and television concerts in her own country and the rest of the EU since the cd's original EU release last year...hopefully whatever they pulled for the DVD will be a performance prior to say, maybe March 2007 before she hit the U.S. circuit and just fell apart...at least I hope so...

why re-release an already successful album?

I think Classic albums should stay with their original tracklist.

I have no problems with adding a second disc of extras like a lot of classic albums have been getting after being remastered. Just keep the tracklist of the first disc the same.

But where would they pull the material from with her sounding clean, on point, in good pitch...? They would have to go back pretty far before the whole US blow up, I think. That makes me wonder about liscencing issues and the money involved depending on the venues she was recording then if they were in fact recording the vocal. Four tracks of visual against a whole concert of audio might be a money issue for the label in terms of where she played, ect...

And don't you consider the version with "Addicted" on the end to be the CLASSIC tracklist?

Sir?

I only have the U.S. version with the Ghostface remix in place of "Addicted". sad

I might order the U.K. rerelease.

The only CLASSIC version is my European 10 song version that I bought on my local FNAC!

Y'all crazy with those claims!

I don't even play that track anymore. When I listen to the album on iTunes at work, I substitute "Valerie" for it instead. The album ends on a much higher note that way.

I had a 10 track version without Ghostface first,

then I realized it was missing the closer "Addicted" and got the UK version. Gave the other CD to my dad.

The last thing I needed to hear was a rap on this album. Lame marketing move. But like I said I never owned that Ghostface version.
