Just returned from the BET JazzFest in Grand Cayman. Mike Phillips' band played and it was off the hizzook! He was by far the best act although Brian McKnight was as cool and sexy as ever. Chaka, Musiq Soul Child and Joe were good too.

One of Prince's hornz players (didn't catch the name) played with MP. And then there were the two guitar players...one was crazy as he**, the other, well he was just coooool...

MP talked about his love for God and real music...sounds like Prince is influencing a whole new crop of young talent! Love is contagious.
