This is Teena's only biological child, Alia Rose. She's will be 16 on Christmas Day. Peter Butcher is her daddy. I read in a post recently and some of you were asking about Alia and who her father was.

I'm not sure if this two-day celebration of Smokey Robinson's 50 years of the Miracles being together; 50years of Smokey and Berry Gordy as great friends,and 50 yars of Motown will be on tv, but there are a lot of things coming from Motown in the future to celebrate it's 50 years. According to Suzanne DePasse, the producer of a lot of Motown tv shows and movies said there will be a feature film on Motown, a stage musical and the 80's Motown reunion shows will be released on DVD, and a big concert they're looking at doing, possibly in China, celebrating music around the world. So, perhaps this celebration will be thrown in somewhere. It was also a fundraiser for the Motown Museum.

That picture of Teena and Smokey reminds me of the song 'Cruise Control' on Teena's newest CD 'Sapphire'. Great CD, I love Teena, shes the real deal.

I can't believe it was 25 yrs ago that we were celebrating Motown 25th, and for those of us who remember back then what a celebration that was!
