I mean, Jesus said we should pray for our enemies. I thought you were referring to Common's views on interracial relationships. Oh my, what are his views on that?

Really? Can you elaborate? I guess I'm not as up on Common as I thought You need a residency on Okayplayer.com to witness them all. "Fag" this "Fag" that rolling off his tongue. Breaks white womens hearts by refusing them the onstage dedication segment in the live show, sent one back into audience when he could see her ethnicity. All this when he admits he gets with the beckies on the low. White people only care about dogs and yoga, there have been others. Just a few that are fresh in my mind. Not the dumbest rapper going but how he and the likes of Mos Def get held up as somehow superior with all the nonsense they come out with is just sad. Glug, glug like a mug

Some highlights of his dumb statements. One even Prince-related:
“Homo’s a no-no, so faggots, stay solo" "I’ll turn you into the artist formerly known as You gay ass fag." "Niggas hate you, they ain't paying you no attention In a circle of faggots, your name is mentioned" I'd go as far as to say Common is more homophobic than the average rapper. Seems obsessed with the theme. Glug, glug like a mug

The evidence is indisputable, SpecialEd, yet a lot of those lyrics were dropped more than 10 years ago, IIRC. Doesn't excuse them, but I haven't heard a whole lot of that language coming from Com in recent outings. Correct me if I'm wrong. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

And his comment to T.I. is hardly dumb. God, indeed, is with the bruh... regardless of his guilt and through any appropriate consequences. The universe is bigger than T.I. and his screw ups. Ὅσον ζῇς φαίνου

lastdecember said: Here it is.....
COMMON URGES T.I. TO PRAY OVER CHARGES Rapper COMMON has voiced his support for his AMERICAN GANGSTER co-star T.I. after he was taken into custody over weapons charges. Common, real name Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr, who plays T.I's dad in the film, urged the rapper-actor to pray for his future. He says, "Know that God is with (you). Know that He knows what the truth is and the truth is going to allow (you) to get out and be alright." Twenty-seven-year-old T.I., real name Clifford Harris Jr. - remains in custody after allegedly sending his bodyguard to buy three machine guns and two silencers from an undercover police officer who was posing as an arms dealer. His lawyers asked U.S. Magistrate Judge Alan Baverman to release the rapper on a $2.2 million (GBP1.1 million) bond with monitored home confinement while he awaits trial. But the judge said he will reserve his ruling until October 26 (07) when his lawyers are expected to present an approved home monitor. Dont know where everyone will be on this statement, but to me, its dumb. Mainly the whole GOD knows the truth shit is so sickening at this point, take the blame for your own actions, how come you dont say "Pray for the Bodyguard also" while he was at it. Regardless of what the outcome of this charge is, i really doubt that he is 100% innocent, and there lies the problem, i have seen people posting all over that he is innocent and things like that and yet no one is even speaking on how and why were these assault weapons were even involved, that for some reason has taken a back seat. Machine guns and silencers, seems like someone was planning something, and think how cowardly this all is too. Using another person to go get them for you, no one is speaking on that either. How does God knowing the truth stop a person from accepting responsibility? Wouldn’t God know the truth either way it goes? Further more were you there? Do you know the truth and the full story, probably not, I see nothing wrong with Common’s statement.
