Left Eye's N.I.N.A. album to be released! Just recently, Death Row records said that they would not release her final album for fear of looking like they were cashing in. I guess the demand was so strong for it, they've changed their mind. I am SOOO happy about this. Her debut solo album Supernova was wonderful. This is the story according to MTV news:
Suge Knight, who recently signed a distribution deal with Koch Records, plans to release the long-talked-about second Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes solo album on Tha Row in October, according to a spokesperson for the storied exec. Left Eye's first solo venture, Supernova, was released overseas by Arista Records last year and streamed on her Web site, www.eyenetics.com (see "Left Eye Plans To Stream Delayed Album"), as it was not released in America. Frustrated, Left Eye aligned herself with Suge at the top of this year (see "Left Eye Signs With Suge Knight's Tha Row") and was recording an album for Tha Row under the moniker N.I.N.A. shortly before her death in April (see "Lisa 'Left Eye' Lopes Killed In Car Accident"). No details on the N.I.N.A. project have been released as of yet, and Knight was unavailable for comment. Left Eye will also be heard on the new LP by her group, TLC. Arista Records has set a November 12 release date for that album (see "T-Boz, Chilli To Complete Fourth TLC Album"). | |

don't believe Suge look at all the 2Pac Albums? Pac got so Many Albums out&still coming He makes Prince look like He is at a Snail Pace? Suge is always thinking Dollars don't be fooled.I bet this Album will drop right at the same time as the New TLC Album? you know Sharks will strike at any time. mistermaxxx | |

Please don't buy the NINA project (if it ever gets released). This is part of a post that Left Eye's brother left on her official site's message board.

'supernova' had a couple of cool moments...especially 'the block party...'
..after hearing 'the block party' i was very hopeful for the music to come from left-eye... i am sorry to hear about the confusion surrounding the NINA project...and i'm sorry to hear that suge knight is apparently trying to cash in on her... ..it's not often i actually cry when i hear about celebrity deaths, but left-eye's death actually hit me pretty hard.. r.i.p lisa... | |

I still don't understand why Left-Eye ever aligned herself with a shady character like Suge Knight in the first place.He does nothing but EXPLOIT and rip-off all of his artists,just ask Dre,Snoop and the others.To this day,he is still exploiting Tupac. | |
