Can you imagine the child of Madonna and Tupac Shakur? According to Lucy O'Brien's new book, "Madonna: Like an Icon," out Tuesday, it almost happened.

O'Brien says Madonna, in her mid-30s, "desperately wanted children and had various relationships with unlikely men." The singer's friend Alison Clarkson recalls when she was briefly dating Tupac Shakur, one year before his death.

"She was going out with him ... but homegirls were saying to him, 'I can't believe you're going out with a white girl,'" - so she got dumped!

Yeah,Madonna had the hots for Tupac.She even got him to rap on one of her songs ("I'd Ratha Be Yo Lover" from 'Bedtime Stories') but the rap was removed,for some reason.Later,when he was arrested for one thing or another,Madonna helped him out with bail money.

During the 'Bedtime Stories' era,Madonna was desperate to have a baby.She briefly considered Vanilla Ice,Tupac and Dennis Rodman to father her child It's a good thing she waited and did it right,lol.

Damn... didn't know she was feeling Pac !!!!

I never really cared for the version with his rap. I mean, it's interesting to hear at first, but it's not the best rap. The song was better off without it.

I don't know what their problem was. His music was as slow and dull as Lawrence Welk and you can't get no whiter than Lawrence Welk. If anything, Borepac must have taken some of the "black" out of Madonna and inspired her to make something like "Evita".
