I went WTF when I saw this on my desk!!!!!!!!

whofarted

OK, just google Edgar Winter and you will get an idea of the pictures I saw in the CD booklet eek hmmm whofarted falloff

And so of course, I add this to my collection because I seriously cannot turn down a free CD. So I save it to my harddrive and I'm looking at the back and I see the first song is Frankenstein and I'm thinkin Wow. That has the same name as one of my all time favorite instrumentals. So the thing saves to my harddrive and I click on that song to see what a trainwreck awaits my ears and it is ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE INSTRUMENTALS! clapping biggrin worship

So far, everything on this album has been the freakin bomb clapping I guess the moral to this story is never judge a damn book by it's cover lol

You should see/hear his brother...

...Johnny Winter (his earlier albums anyway). On the third (inner cover ) shot, that's a younger Edgar on the left.

Give It Everything You Got (2nd cut on your Best Of) might be my favorite Edgar Winter tune.

Edgar Winter Group was the first concert I had my mom take me to - LA Forum 1974. Bad Company opened & yes, Derringer was on geetar.

Always dug him, always will. Wish he would play in LA more.

lol

My greatest band 'claim to fame' in school was to get our instructor to include our rendition of Frankenstein in the Spring Recital. We kicked the shit out of the percussion. The uptight audience was mostly horrified at learning the music their children were performing in band class. I still have the drumstick I broke.

sigh I need to get back in a band. That was one of the happiest times of my life.
Oh shit, my hat done fell off
