i miss this madonna too....but she aint coming back. I just wish she'd learn to embrace this version of herself a little more, rather than being a bit embarassed by her excesses.
She was awesome around this time. I read an interview with her fitness instructor some time back who basically said that during this tour she exercised so much she had a lower body fat % than most olympic athletes. Probably why her voice was in such bad shape throughout this tour. | |

What annoys me most about her now is that you still see little glimpses of her old self, it's just you can tell she's more concerned about being acceptable nowadays, rather than saying and doing whatever she wanted, regardless of how it made her look in the public eye. I understand having kids changes her perspective completely, but it still doesnt excuse the peice of shit videos she keeps churning out. The old Madonna would turn her nose right up at those - just as she did at prince's video making capabilities. | |
