CeCe Peniston - "Finally" (the album) Are there any other good songs except the title track?

Yes! With the exception of the closing track, Virtue (), the whole album is good. I was just listening to this album again last week for the first time in a year or so. Standouts are Lifeline, Keep on Walkin', We Got a Love Thang (love this one!) and Crazy Love. I think you'll like this one a lot.

Thanks What about her other albums? Not so great. She had a few good singles, but that's about it.

I love "We Got A Love Thang". That is my favorite on the cd. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

"Inside that I Cried" was a nice ballad too. That album cover is so 90s. Daisies were everywhere in the 90's. looking for you in the woods tonight Switch FC SW-2874-2863-4789 (Rum&Coke)

Really??? You seem to like all these female dance singers like Madonna and Britney (who can't sing). CeCe at least had a strong voice.

"In The Mood" and the other album (which I can't recall now) were bad. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

CeCe Peniston has always had a penchant for cheesy ballads, which don't do her incredible voice justice.
"We Got a Love Thing" and "Keep On Walkin'" are other-worldly - unfortunately the best versions are on 12" singles not on the original CD/LP. One of the most underappreciated soul singers possibly of all time. Part of it is she needs Steve Hurley to bring out the best in her, a statement which she probably would strongly disagree with. Oh well. Yes a great album. Had a ton of great times at clubs when that record came out in Spring of 1992.
