YES: Prince Siouxsie And The Banshees/The Creatures Tori Amos Janet Jackson NO: The Cure Björk PJ Harvey The Pipettes (not yet, but very very soon) But I like them all a lot. some of those people have more than 2 albums I could have sworn yesterday this thread title said "but YOU only have one or two of their albums." Either my reading comprehension skills have greatly diminished or gremlins switched the words on me.

Well its all in the same vein like, can someone be considered a 'favorite even when you don't know many of their songs OR if they just don't have that many If you will, so will I

YES: Prince Siouxsie And The Banshees/The Creatures Tori Amos Janet Jackson NO: The Cure Björk PJ Harvey The Pipettes (not yet, but very very soon) But I like them all a lot. How you can say no to Bjork and PJ I say the answer is Yes. Erykah Badu has what, 2 proper albums, an ep and a live disc but really 2 proper and she is one of my all time favorite ever!. I feel the same way about Adriana Evans and she put out 2 discs, one of which I have never been able to track down and CeCe Peniston is more or less considered a one hit wonder and with 3 proper albums, all of them spotty, she is one of my all time favorites because of how great her great songs really are on each album. The Brand New Heavies made my all time favorite at 2 albums and Dee-Lite made 3 albums and fell off but they too are in my top fave list Jill Scott got a place on my list with one album. That's all I needed Add Bilal and D'Angelo to that list So yes, the answer is yes . [Edited 10/16/07 12:20pm] 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

How you can say no to Bjork and PJ I like them a lot, but I don't consider myself a real fan because PJ played here last week and I did not go. There's also a world of PJ b-sides that I have never attempted to explore. That's not a real fam. The same goes for Björk. These two Björk shows I saw this year were the first this century. Unacceptable. But let me now answer the original thread question properly. Two albums is the absolute minimum for an artist to be considered my favorite which would include: Deadsy Icaro Azul Van Hunt I think that's it. Every other one has at least three albums released.

Thank you for letting me know Yea, there is a 90s band called Quazar, but it has nothing to do with this one. This 'Quazar' is a funk band from the 70s. They released one album, 'Quazar' in 1978. It features former P-Funk members Glenn Goins and Jerome Brailey (on some of the songs). Glenn and Jerome had some financial disagreements with George Clinton and left his posse. Glenn formed Quazar with his brother Kevin. Unfortunately, Glenn passed away before the album was completed (he was only 23 years old... ). Kevin decided to go ahead and release the album anyway. The band broke up afterwards. I have this LP, and yes indeed - Quazar would have been huge! RIP Brother Glenn. This album was some serious, gritty funk. Very proud to have it in my collection - can't be found anywhere on CD. I used to stare at the cover for hours, LOL. [Edited 10/16/07 16:00pm]

Bell & James. Only 2 LP's, never released on CD (aside from the hit cut "Living It Up [Friday Night]"). Every song on each of their albums were my favorite (especially "Ask Billie")! Thank God I still at least have the albums, have been waiting years for the CD's.
