I got this album about 6months ago, didn't really like the feel of the album, but only about 2days ago, cleared the dust from the case and put it on again, the album isn't to bad, the best song on the album is "funky monday" i could listen to that song all day, if the album could only be as good as that song

Yep, I got it on vinyl and you are right Andykeen, Funky Monday and Ridin'are good songs.
However I checked the mp3's versions on Utunes UK and they are currently selling the US version, I just can't remember if there is the duet with Corinne Bailey Rae on the UK one?.

I actually liked "Afro Strut" Much better than "Ghetto Fly" -- the sound is a lot more varied, more soulful---Afro Strut is like a cross between Ghetto Fly and the funkier sounds on his first (out of Print) album, Mr Fiddler - "With Respect" (That one included Cameos from P-Funk alumni George Clinton Garry Shider, Blackbird McKnight, etc...)

He plays keys and sings background on "We Can Funk" on Graffiti Bridge. He also did some session work on TC Ellis' "True Confessions" album.

I love "Waltz of A ghetto fly", but "Afro Strut" didn't do it 4 me. I don't like the album at all, with the exception of "Ridin'" and "Right Where You Are". Is the US release any better than the UK release?
