THE VERVE-"the drugs dont work" http://www.youtube.com/wa...4XCGeckA-E
amazing track-one of those timeless powerful tracks that remind me so much of the summer of 97 when OASIS and THE VERVE ruled the country and britpop was on its last legs

Yeh they're pretty awsome!. I saw richard ashcroft live at hammersmith apollo last year and the song is also amazing live! I remember when it came out , around the time of princess dianas death. Music was good back then Its hard 4 me to say whats right when all i wanna do is wrong

It was moving when they played it at their homecoming gig at Haigh Hall back in 1997. I don't think it's one of their best those. I prefer their earlier albums over 'Urban Hymns' too. 'A Storm In Heaven' is totally blissed out. There's Joy In Expatriation.

I great, classic song. One of the best songs from the 90s. It came out just before the death Princess diana, so I tend to connect it with her death and the hysteria that followed.
