went to see them here in Baltimore on a humble...$22 general admission...i really wasn't expecting too much, but they put on a pretty decent show (despite the fact that they sing to audio tracks and don't use a real band). they completely cut out all the parts of their hits that had Mike the bass voice.
Nathan had a cold or something because he only sang about 20% of teh time and kept coughing like he had pneumonia (but i give him props for at least trying).
shawn told the audience to pull out their cell phones and call their mama's (as they sang "song for mama"...most of you know i just lost my Mom last month, so I'm in the concert sniffing and bawling while i'm looking at my Mom's picture in my cell phone..it was kind of surreal. So anyway, i buy the VIP lanyard that lets you meet the fellas and i go back and they're pretty cool. i tell them about my Mom and that song and they all pass on their condolences and give some hugs. I tell Wanya that people used to say we could be twins and he laughs.

thanks for the love prince peeps...friends have been telling me that it'll seem like i'm okay with my Mom's passing until i hear a song that reminds me of her. so when they sang that song, it just reminded of the mother in the movie soul food. i miss her something terrible
