Pepa has always been pretty, as are all the members of Salt 'N Pepa. She had a cute nose - nothing wrong with it. So why in the HELL did she have to go & mess w/ it??? Maybe that's why she's so $ hungry, b/c she's spending her $ on silly shit. If she wanted some surgery she could have shaved down those big ass shoulders, or bought some hips or something

I mean, Salt was always the cute one, IMO, and still. Pepa also looks like she lost weight.

as for getting nose jobs to lose "blackness," i'm not so sure that's the correct diagnosis for all black people who get the surgery. for michael, sure. for lil' kim, alright, their actions as a whole would support it.

its almost racist in itself to assume that when a black person gets a nose job it's in order to lessen their racial features. nobody accuses whites of trying to look more white when they get a nose job. nobody accuses whites of trying to look black when they go tanning. does anyone accuse hispanics of trying to look less "ethnic" (god, i hate that term but can't think of another that would do) if they get a nose job?

i mean, in the end, if you didn't know her before you'd never even think she had a nose job to look less black.

Granted she still looks good, and the nose job isn't major, but why mess with her face when it looks great anyway. God gave us features that compliment each other, and messing around with surgery like that shows she has the same nose now as so many others who have had rhinoplasty. I really hope she stops there and her new snubbed nose doesn't get more and more surgery so she ends up looking Jacksonesque.

It's not the correct diagnosis for every Black person who gets surgery, but it certainly explains the motives of some folks.

I'm not saying Pepa is trying to erase her Blackness w/ this (unless she takes the shit further w/ more surgeries, then I'd question it), but she (as well as Vivica & anyone else who already looks great) boggles my mind - I really think these mf's are around the wrong people & get influences to fuck w/ their faces for no good reason. They create some kind of dissatisfaction & act on that silliness.

Of course I'm not in this chicks head & she can do whatever she wants, but the nose job looks like shit imo. It's not terrible, but she most certainly looked better before. She didn't look like a damn alien. Everything was where it was supposed to be before, now she just looks strange...

Now I know why I use Firefox instead of Explorer....I can see the before pics....I'll get back to you.

After seeing it, I think she looked better with the old nose but it's not a huge difference, but it's not super darstic. I mean, it looks like a fake nose (on anybody!) but it's not a terrible nosejob.
