I agree that the song is about how you can't predict falling in love -- but it makes that point by repeatedly saying even if you're a good husband/wife or are faithful and not trying to hurt anybody .... you can still fall into lust/love with someone else. So, it's about cheating to me... that impulse to cheat ... even when you really didn't want to.
